Carrie Zeitler Everitt
I have recently moved to GA with my husband, two children, and Sheltie dog, after my husband received a job transfer. I grew up in Sheboygan Falls Wisconsin, then went to college at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, where I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with teaching certification. Upon graduation in 1999, I moved north to Appleton, Wisconsin and was hired at Kimberly High School as an Art Educator. I worked as an Art Educator and the Art Curriculum Coordinator at Kimberly High until 2013. In 2006, I received my Masters of Arts in Education degree from Marian University, earning both a Principal License, and Director of Instruction License. I am currently working as a freelance artist in the state of GA, while staying home with my two children and now 3 Shelties after feeling inclined to rescue 2.
Being a High School Art teacher for thirteen years, I am an artist of many medias, although I enjoy painting the most. I work primarily in Oil, but enjoy working in acrylic and watercolor on occasion. I am currently teaching painting classes to individuals of all art levels. If you ever wanted to learn to paint, I encourage you to contact me. I teach private lessons as well as fun in-home paint parties. Take a look at my painting classes page for more information.
